I want to tell you my story
Of my relationship with guys
Please just ignore though
If you see tears in my eyes

Let me start with the first
See this scar right here?
That was placed there
When I cried my first tear

The guy lied to me
Made my life so hard to live
But every time he did something wrong
I was still the one to forgive

Now this scar right here
Is much deeper than the other
A boy caused it
One I treated as my own brother

He hurt me so badly
Yet with so much regret
But the things he did
I just can't forget

These other scars over here
Are from a guy so unique
I spent my life dreaming of him
But he made me so weak

He brought me down
With chains on my wrists
Turned off the lights
Hurt me with his fists

The rest are from a guy
I loved more than life
But he like the others
Caused me to use the knife

Now see this here
The one still bleeding red
This I've done just now
It isn't a scar yet

It's from a guy I tried to not love
A guy who I can't help but need
A guy who was suppose to love me back
But has only caused me to bleed

Well here are my questions to you
The latest pain in my heart
When is all this going to end?
Because it only seems to start

What is this thing you're doing!
A new way to hurt me?
Is this the way
Things are always going to be?

Do you enjoy the feeling you get?
When you see me cry?
Would it make you smile to know?
You're killing me inside

I'm so lost now
Trapped in all this pain
I've come to learn there's no escape
From the blood that's drained

You could have not hurt me
You didn't need to
What have I done to deserve it?
Is it because I love you?

I hope you know
