Everyday People

by Tim Trapp   Dec 5, 2005

Busy little ants,
Coming and going;
No place to go.
Every direction here and there.
Up one hill down another.

Sooner or later another destination,
Will they make it safe?
Only they will know.
Open the flood gate,
Out they pour.

Some will be late for work,
Others get mad and sore.
Big cities or small,
Off to Wal-mart or the mall.
Some drive slow,
Others fast;
Just to make it home at last.

    Facts of life...nice write, good rhythm, well structured, metre was accurate as to lines and syllables counts. And u did it well on rhymes, so consistent. Love it.
