Outside verses inside

Look deep in my eyes
see the pain within me
look at what you did
how bad you hurt me
look closer and see the scar
from where you took my heart
want to know something

now take a little glance
my wrists are different
the cuts have healed
the scars have faded
the bruises are gone
look at my notebook
your name is crossed off
