Put on my armor
walk on to the battlefield
arm myself
I've got a shield

a metal encasing
around my heart
don't pull out your sword
don't even start

for every flirty little thing you say
I've got a remark
ill whip it out so fast
leave you looking stark

you won't lure me back in
my armor is too thick
those bullets can't come through
i know all your tricks

that smile of yours
the twinkle in your eyes
the way you laugh
but i don't believe your lies

you are with her
so get away from me
don't pull out your sword
we were never meant to be

i don't really need this armor
you are already so weak
because your living in the past
thinking about the last few weeks
