Sunset

For some reason I just don't like this poem. But my mother seems to like it quite a bit. I am not sure if she's just being nice, or is telling the truth. What do you guys think?!

A fireball of the most beautiful red,
mixed with streaks of sunshine yellow.
Makes all feel happy and energetic,
yet so calm and mellow.

Such beauty is that sight,
with a background of fading blue.
What a breathtakingly beautiful sight.
It makes everything seem so pure and new.

To appreciate something extravagant,
is to appreciate this sight.
To ignore that very same thing,
would take a person's entire strength and might.

So slowly, yet so fast,
it vanishes from your sight.
Which is why you can't wait
for it to come back tomorrow night.
