Of My Heart

by Little Sin   Dec 5, 2005

On this night, a night in which theres no star insight,
and the darkness rapes the ebony
sky of its moonlight.
My home is empty,
and the razors sharp edge,
is tempting.

I hold it within my hands,
my need for pain,
my will fails to understand.
And my longing for death,
is held forever, in my heart,
so dead.

And I stare in the night,
from the shattering mirror,
and I look into my reflection,
staring back in terror.
For the grim reaper, I do wait,
and I`ll accept such a fate.

Even though, the angel of death,
is late. I still carry this vengeful, hate.

In the shadows of this home, all
the ghost, to me are shown.
My future`s hope is decry-ed,
as I step outside into the cold,
I go and my absence will be unknown.

The only sight, I`m able to see,
is the darkened water turned to snow.

When will I meet my end, I do not
know. My guardian angel, has never, to me been shown.

And as I walk on, this path so dark,
I fail to hear the beating of my heart.
