Going Away

by Samara Elizabeth Vance   Dec 5, 2005

The night's eyes are watching us,
during the times we grieve.
Until we just run out of life,
we refuse to procede.
They venture from shadows,
their layers of day,
and they take our souls from us.
They take them and stray.
They run from our bodies,
our humanly shells.
And allow us to stray in a new and strange realm.
Here we will wander
for always,
and forever.
