MOMENT IN TIME

Now and then we all
Get a chance for that
One moment in time

When we can
Make it our own
And only our own

That one moment when
We know just what to
Do when we know just
How to handle Things

When everything around us just
Stops and that moment in time is
Are's to grab and nothing's in
The way to stop us but us

We're are, are only
Problem we're the only
Thing that holds us back,

When we know what
We want it's because of
Us that's what we lack

We have the power
The change are self's
The power to make us great

The power to make one
Happy is all in the heart
Of the beholder

So this moment is yours
This moment is mine Lets
Take this moment now and
Make it that moment in time

    When I saw the title, I remember the song "One moment in time" not sure who by, but it was sweet. I really am starting to like the 3 line verses. One small problem, in the 5th Verse you wrote 'We're are' We're is short for We are, so it's like you're writing 'are' 3 times over. As for the rest of the poem. Super!! 5 :)

    This is very heartfelt and emotional, I can tell that you believe in every single word that you write. The part that really got me was "The power to make one
    Happy is all in the heart
    Of the beholder", because that is one of my own principal beliefs. This is wonderfully stated, but sometimes gets confusing because of small grammar errors, like "Make it are own" = Make it our own. Great poem, keep it up.
