I Hate You

I hate you for everything.
I hate you until it burns and stings.
I hate you for hurting me endless times,
I hate you so much it makes me rhyme.

I hate you for your convincing lies,
I hate you for your penetrating eyes.
I hate you for hating me,
I hate you for what I came to be.

I hate you for changing my life,
From happiness and love to bitterness and strife.
I hate you for making me do things I normally wouldn't,
I hate you for making me cry when I shouldn't.

I hate you for the secrets you kept,
I hate you for the tears I've wept,
I hate you for breaking my heart,
I've always hated you, right from the start.

I hate you for never giving me the care I need,
I hate you for making me cry, then bleed.
I hate you for mking me feel like choice #2,
I hate you for making me fall in love with you.

    What a powerful poem Emma.

    I can feel the hate in it and the pain. Once again very well done Emma.

    It is pretty ironic that when I was reading this poem, I was listening to this song of Three day grace, called "I hate everything about you"... Very ironic. Cause, well ofcourse I am not sure, But I think that this could be how you feel aswell. It's kind of about the same, as what your poem is about.

    It's a very powerful song. Like your poem. It's about hating but still loving.
