My Christmas Picture

by Cesar Caceres   Dec 6, 2005

Such a wonderful time of the year
With all lovely songs to hear
But I miss someone of much value
All of this breaks me down, what can I do?
How I wish to tell her how I feel
To tell my secrets that I'll reveal
But the time can never rewind
To search for you, I will never find

In a picture, its only me
And I'm sitting by my Christmas tree
Outside my window, it slowly snows
Behind my windows, I'm all alone

I light the candles as it gets dark
The night brings memories, you didn't unmarked
Gently the cold freezes my heart
Faintly, trying to crack apart
But it revives when I remember
The way you laughed when we we're together
You gave me the greatest gift of all
The gift of love that I always recall

In a picture, its only me
Decorating my Christmas tree
Underneath the mistletoe
I am hurt trying not to show
To find you, I will never know
So for now, I'm a ghost all alone
