Lennon You Were a Legend

by Weeping Wolf   Dec 6, 2005

*As i said before, i dedicate this week of poems to John Lennon's tragedy*

you imagined with hope
you believed with love
for a better world of peace
after a long lifetime
of depression and war
of tragedy and discord.

Lennon you were a legend
across the whole nation
from Australia to America
You shared with the world
your desire for peace.

Out of all the Beatles
you inspired me the most
Your songs gave me hope
famous from cost-to-cost

Yet you were the one
who had to pay the cost
because of loosing you
a world of peace was lost.

Lennon you were a legend
Thank you for the faith
We'll remember you Lennon
through your music and love
you will never be forgotten.
