No Clue

You see them with clear eyes, and an open mind
Time is always to short with you around, yet well worth it
My love for you grows more and more each day, minute by minute second by second
The more I'm with you the more I feel comfortable and feel like I'm where I should be
Yet I can see the pain in your eyes, and hear it in your voice
I stand and look at you wondering what can be done
I do all that I am able to, but it's not enough, near enough
Pain and sadness is all i can feel when your not with me, why does it happen to you
I wish I was able to do more
I wish I could help you out more
I wish you didn't have to go through it all
I wish I could just take you away when I hear the pain in your voice
I wish I could not take you home after the day with you
I wish I could take you away from the pain and suffering
All I am able to do is watch from the sidelines, thinking
Thinking of what more I can do, only one thing I can do but not possible
Why does it happen to you, why do you suffer so much for nothing
And now my pain is sitting there, not able to do anything to make you truly happy for more than one day
If only I can make that one day turn into the rest of your life
