and the roads as cakes with snowy topping
rings of silver bells and the wintry breeze
Vivid toys shone through glass windows in shops
bright bulbs on either sides of houses with christmas trees decorated with tiny toys and shiny stars..
Distant hyms heard from the village church
and the sweet smell of backing cakes and fresh wine.
The laughter and delight on everyones face...
