Home

In memory of Natalie

Afraid of time
But it keeps moving
Uncertain
Can't stop it
Tick tock

Eggshells
Have tracks worn into them
Around me
Looks of pity
Hearts are slowly breaking
But I'm ok
It's you I feel sorry for
You'll be left behind.
I'm going home
Tick tock

Home is a place
Where the birds never stop singing
Where the sky is always blue
Or so I've heard
As long as you believe
Tick tock

Faith
Passion
I'm not sure I have
Does it matter?
I don't know
Wanting
Just a little longer
Tick tock

A few months
Come to past
I'm slipping further
I can see it in your eyes
My hope dies
Blackness consumes
But I don't want to go
I'm not ready
Tick tock

I want to know people
I want to experience love
I want to live
Sadness in your eyes
Hope is dead
Nothing can be done
Then the clock stops ticking
And I go home

Remember me when I'm gone
I hope there will never be another me

There will never be another Natalie

Hey all, thanks for readingâ?¦. â??homeâ?? is my interpretation of heaven and the rest is pretty self explanatory. Thanks!
