He’s A Shadow. He’s a shadow, A stealthy conception, He knows what he's doing, But do they? While the lights are low, He’s out causing issue, He’s a shadow, A stealthy conception, Is it much to ask? To be considered as equal, And not pushed to a life of evil, Not shoved down, He's a shadow, A stealthy conception, You know its all your fault, You never cared, You always wanted more, And when it never came you swore, He's a shadow, A stealthy conception, Maybe its on your mind not his, Because all he sees is red, You’ve beaten all else out, And left a hollow shell, He's a shadow, A stealthy conception, It’s on the morrow you'll find, A discarded corpse, That was dead, Many years before He’s a shadow, A stealthy conception, A misdirected threat, An ill hidden vowel, A misplaced blow, An ill covered bruise, He’s a shadow, A stealthy conception, It’s all in your eyes, You know its all your fault, His shell was finally discarded, The many years dead corpse, He's a shadow, A stealthy conception, Is it just one more blow? That you wanted to give, Or a too late apology, Given in ill grace.
