Forgive Me For I have Done Wrong

Please forgive me I didn't mean to hurt you.
I sometimes say things I don't mean to.

I know you're mad at me but sometimes I get mad at you.
I want you to know that I'm sorry for what for being such a fool.

They say forgiveness is the quickest way back to friendship.
Believe me when I say this I don't want it to end this way.

I want to show you a better side a side that no one has seen.
The side that I used to hide was now I thought a dream.

The side that I failed to show was compassion. I should not have been selfish but shown a little love.

Hate is what got me here a trait not shown by the one above.
I wish for your forgiveness and maybe a little hug.

As I write this I think of all the wrong I've done. You told me all along what is was but I chose not to hear.

You were right about me all along I'm nothing more than a selfish inconsiderate guy.
I will end this poem and hope for that part of me to die.

One more verse that I know I must say. Let's me friends and start over today.

No More Lies No More Jokes You've shown me there's a Time and Place for everything.
