Never be

I am not happy now,
That is the truth,
The depression is cured,
But pain, still through the roof.
I learnt my lesson,
No good from self-harm,
But still I consider,
Leaving a mark on my arm,
Loving for no reason is never a mistake,
The problem is,
Distance is hard take,
I can’t have her
I accept that, though it’s not easy,
The problem is I need her
(and I know that sounds cheesy)
But it is an issue
When you feel hurt and broken
It is hard to admit,
That the truth cannot be spoken.
She will never know
Just what she means to me.
She will never understand,
And we will never be.
