As I walk along,
The flowers wavering in the wind,
I start to sing a song,
A song that reminds me of the years gone by,
Of the fun and of the sad.
All of a sudden Im walking on the beach, sandals in my hands.
Splashing through the water.
Im at home at the beach.
I can think, with only the sounds of waves crashing
A peace of mind I can not explain
A love for the water, sand between my toes.
Im back in a flower field,
Flowers all around me, surrounding me,
Engulfing me, swallowing me whole,
I can run forever in that field of flowers,
Because if I fall, it will be soft.
Back in the real world my mind is set,
Today is the day I smile,
Today is the day I stand tall.
Today, I am me.
