MOTHER NATURE (I know its orignial lol)

by Whitney   Dec 7, 2005

I sit upon the rock near the water's edge
Listening to the singing of the birds and wind
Staring up at the mountain's cloudy ledge
Wondering what's beyond its bend

Singing my song of sorrow
As Mother Nature seems to grow quiet and listen to my story
So I sing till tomorrow
She seems to mourn because my life was destroyed

Mother Nature seems to understand the true me
Her and my heart seem to beat as one
I let her lead me, running through the trees
Till she leads me to a land where nothing is done

It is her mountain of grief and darkness
Hidden in a mask of clouds
It seems to tell my story of loneliness
Sins of life are cast upon the mounds

She is beautiful but yet she isn't as perfect as she seems
Just like me she hides her pain
Pain, She tries to redeem
