A Pen

A pen, a pad, an open view
A dream, a wish, a thought or two
Write them down with an open heart
Don't sit & wait for a rhyme to start
Just let your mind wander free
In the clouds, the stars, the deep blue sea
Then when you're finished, when you're through
You'll see on paper part of you
