Losing You

Dreaming of Something I Canâ??t Have
Loneliness fills my heart up with pure sadness and fear
Fear of never loving again
And sadness of never feeling anymore
Searching within myself is with pure motivation
Finding nothing that can destroy the happiness within my soul
Wishing upon every star in the sky for something I have dreamt for so long
Waking up every morning knowing that my dreams will never be fulfilled
Going to the place where I see you each day
Brings depression and frustration in my eyes
My blue eyes that were once filled with happiness
Are now filled with sadness and numbness
A warming blue that could fill a persons heart with hope
Has now been cooled and can only bring a person fear
The way I walk into the doors is no longer a sign of enjoyment
But it is a sign of someone who feels nothing no more
I stare at you figuring out what I need to do to make you like me
When you turn your head towards me and smile
Forgetting everything and losing my train of thought
You know that my life has had a rough road and yet you still stick by me
Everything I have worked for has disappeared in the midst of darkness
The smile and eyes that you have, somehow brought a light to my life
Just seeing you makes my day better
Knowing that one day you wonâ??t be there and my day will be forever lost
I yearn for your touch and your arms around me
Wondering what it would feel like to have you protect me from all the hatred in the world
Knowing you're a better person then me
Makes me cry myself to sleep at night knowing that I should leave your life
I asked you what would happen to this world if I would've left it
You replied that it would be much quieter but not as fun it is now with me
My heart races a million miles a minute every time you say something to me
Butterflies appear in my stomach every time that you appear in my sight
No more do I want to feel this way
Dreaming of something I cant have
Hiding my feelings from the face of the Earth
And no longer having control of how I act whenever Iâ??m near you
You release something inside of me that always brings a smile to your face
Which Im only grateful that we can be in the same room with each other
If I could, Id erase you from my memory
So I wouldnt have to feel this utter sadness deep within me
Every night I dream about your smiling face
And waking up can only make me want to dream more
