I'll be home soon

When I left home
I convinced myself
That everything would stay fine
That everyone would be alright
That no harm would come to anyone.
Ooh how wrong I was

Although some things have been improving
And some of my friends
Have actually been having it good
Some of them are about to break

I have been asking myself
Where I would go after school
I could just go work anywhere
I could stay here for a while

But now I know for sure
There is but one place I have to be
I must go back home
To where my heart feels it belongs
To where my friends all reside

I must return
To where I am needed
To where all my dreams where born
To where I can feel peace with myself
