Unseen Pain

*This poem was made for my cousin.

I could never see this coming my way,
since the both of you seemed Happy each and everyday,
The both of you alwas seemed to be,
but this is a day that I wished I could never see,
when you came to me, you looked calm as a fox,
but when your talking, you curl up like a box.
you were crying which I haven't see in a long time,
and your tears came out in the shape of dimes.

You told me you gave her the present you had just bought,
and said she was smiling which you told me was hot.
then you said she broke up with you after school,
which made me say she was a fool,
she told you not to cry while she was,
and you said you asked and she said just because,
after you told me everything that had happened to you,
I couldn't believe anything because it sounded untrue,

Then you got up and said you were going for a walk,
since you needed one after that horrible talk,
I feel sorry for you since I never wanted to hear what you said,
because now your pain is all in my head.
