My Poems

My poems are how I express myself,
even though they're not so good.
Someday I'll pull them off of a shelf
and laugh until my face is blue.

I let very few people read them.
For a good reason, as you can see.
For, with them, I explain how I feel about a certain "him,"
or describe what I think when I look into the sea.

For now, my poems matter to me,
but how long will that last?
I guess time will be the one to let me see.
I just hope it doesn't move too fast!
