When you tried to walk away
Tell him you don’t love him
Why did you stop,
Look back,
With a tear falling down your cheek
Then turn and run away bawling?

You know you still love him,
you know your going to regret this.

He told me today that you left him,
his eyes got swollen and red.
He turned around, faced his back to me.
said he saw a tear fall down your face
wondered why you told him it was over.

He still is in love with you.
He'd do anything to get you back
But you turned and walked away
Hes too scared to talk to you now.
doesn't want you to see him weak
cant stand for you to see him cry

You need to tell him why
Why you got scared when you were getting so close
tell him your past
that your dad abused you
left your heart broken and not able to trust.

Don't give up on him
he's not going to hurt you.
He wont act like you dad.
He was the best thing you ever had.
but You turned and walked away.
