Jump Shot

Open Court
Short of breath
always thinking of what is best
She relies on her team
Determination flashes in her eyes
Always willing to give it her best try

Confident in herself
And shows the team confidence within
Nothing can stop her from wanting to win

Faces the opponent without fear
Can’t wait to cry a victory tear
She takes the shot
With grace and pride
And with that second,
Her fate is realized
