Why?

You cut me way too deep to fly
clipped my wings and made me new
I thought it'd work out in the end
but it seems somethings weren't meant to
i don't know why that kiss still haunts me
still keeps me stirring through the night
like a dream short lived then lost
turned from sweetness into spite
what we lost i still embrace
what we had still guides me through
and yet i wander, still i wander
why you do the things you do

I held you in such high regard
and let you have your space to breathe
It seems my luck has fallen through
once again to let me bleed

    I've read this poem a couple of times over, before I could completly memorize it.
    I think this poem is written with a lot of emotion, and the feelings are genuine.. therefor I can't really say a negative thing about it.
    I rated you a 4. because I hardly ever rate higher.... It's good work and I feel you need to keep on writing :)
