A Christmas Without Depression

by ...Wanna-be Poet...   Dec 8, 2005

They ask me what I want for Christmas,
I tell them that I don't know yet,
But deep down on my list is
Something that they can't get.

I want to be happy again,
I want my old self back,
I want them to feel my pain
And to stop telling me what I lack.

I want the cuts to disappear,
I want the blade to go,
I don't want to shed a tear
I know that I will though.

I want my insecurities to go away,
I don't want any aggression,
So as Santa comes in his sleigh,
I hope he brings me a Christmas without depression.
