Behind the smile

by sammy jo   Dec 8, 2005

Behide the smile

everyday she walks around with a smile and a laugh, she laughs and smiles at everyone. but there is something other then a smile. theres a razor, and her arm. behide the smile is a boy that the girl loves, there is her father that she doesnt know if she wants to love him or hate him. there is a mother who she wants to hate but cant there is a grandmother who she loved and never seen intill she died. behind the smile is a joint and the girls mouth, she uses to fack her smile everyday, behind the smile is a girl crying because she dosent know what to do with her life, behind the smile there is a girl wanting to died but doesnt want to let people down.

A powerful and sad poem, well done. I hope you do not mind a bit of critique, it would be nice if you broke up your poems into stanzas. A stanza of 4 lines to a verse, it would make reading so much more enjoyable for the reader.

    Warm regards,
