Dying In Song

by Absinth Eyes   Dec 8, 2005

Up in your room with the music blaring
Your guarded heart never was worth sharing
The dark soundwaves turn to tidal shifting
Your heavy tears never were worth lifting

Your radio's singing suicide down your street
The steady chords once taught a broke heart to beat
The whispers you lost that you're sure were so sweet
You're wishing on rock stars you never did meet

Your veil, like a shadow cast from your headphones
A voice of a stranger gives you feeling of home
Losing the four sinces you never could hone
The human inside, the scars to the bone

And when the song ends you will fall to your feet
Back into the body still dead in your seat
The demons at your door that you wake to greet
An image of you that can keep you from sleep

The thousand words your picture's worth
Are all four letters long
The only way you'll live to die
Is lost in a sad song

~~Another song, of coarse...~~

I dunno.. i dont reli hv words for this poem ryt here.. so ill go with the usual.. this is amazing.. lol.. its not just one of those sad songs and poems that just talk about nothing and everything at the same time.. lol (wich i do write:P) this is something.. ur rhyme scheme is gr8 and u managed to keep up the rhyme maintaining ur flow and not making it seem forced.. this is so true.. i can relate tho in a different way (is there such a thing? :P) hehe
but anyway.. this is reli gr8.. wonderfully written..
    keep it up
    take care
