You were there in the beginning,
Right when I was born,
You were there when I was happy,
You were there when I mourn.

You made me feel good,
Carrying me in your gentle love,
You were sent from heaven,
And now once more you are above.

Now you are gone,
Your face I still see,

You were there for me when I needed help,
