How could you hurt me
how can you not care
when i was always there
always by your side
and i cried
when you let me go
time went so slow
i couldnt stop thinking of you and me
what we use to be
cant you see
we had something special
something that could last
something i cant put in the past
but its what you wanted
so thats what i got
a broken heart
and days of loneliness
i depression so deep
that i must keep
forever and always
for all of my days
are filled with thoughts of you
and knowing i cant let anyone as close to my heart as you once were
for the fear of the pain that you once cased me
my shattered heart
upon the cold ground
i cannot make a sound
i can only cry
and try each and every day
to forget the way you would hold me
and wipe away my tears
and settle the pain after all theys years
