The Light

I'll be your light
That leads you to me
I'll shine so bright
For all eyes to see

Whenever you are lost
Look for the light
No matter how much your sins cost
You'll make it through the night

I'll be here always
Waiting for you
No matter what you say
No matter what you do

My light will never fade
As the time passes by
It is what I made
So it will never die

Don't fall into darkness
Or the bad things that you see
You can overcome it
If you just believe

(This poem was an English assignment. We got a picture and we were suppose to write what came to mind. My picture was one of a lighted bridge. The whole poem is Jesus talking.)
