The Secret that you keep

by Tiffany   Dec 9, 2005

I wonder why you would keep it on the down low,

I wonder why it's something you make sure no one would know.

It's strange to me you would keep it tucked away so deep,

Oh, the secret that you keep.

Careful, quiet and cautious isn't a way for love to live,

Accept it but also hand it out as a gift to give.

Instead you dance around it like a lost, foolish sheep,

Oh, the secret that you keep.

So be careful the secrets you try to keep tucked away,

Because that may be a game some people don't wish to play.

Closets you cant hide things in so others don't get the chance to greet.

I will not be the secret that you keep
