Call disaster!

I pick up the phone ready to call her,
but...oh no! I forgot her number,
if I don't call her, she is going to be pissed,
it's bad enough that lately she hasn't been hugged and kissed,
her number shouldn't have been forgotten, it's hers,
but I'll look in the phone book for her seven numbers,

I search on the dresser and in the drawers,
I search the shelfs and the floors,
it doesn't seem to be in sight,
so I have to rethink to where I put it last night,
I think and think....I know where it could be,
it could have fallen behind the shelf where no one can see!

After looking behind the shelf, I find it,
I'm pretty sure by now she's throwing a fit,
I find her name without a doubt,
and her number just happens to be ripped out!
I must have taking out and put it in my wallet,
so that in times like this I would not forget it,

I get up from looking in the phone book,
and go the car to search and look,(thats where my wallet was)
I finally find it in the backseat,
right now my heart has a fast beat,
I open it up and don't see the piece of paper,
this day is becoming a complete disaster!

Finally after an hour of thinking about her,
I finally remember her number!
I took so much time to figure her number out,
that I already forgot what I was going to talk about,
I walk up to the phone thinking "I will just say anything"
then all of a sudden the phone began to ring!

It could be her calling out of curiosity,
so I pick up the phone and look at the caller ID,
the number showing wasn't hers,
it was a whole new set of numbers,
so I answered it and heard her voice on the phone,
what to tell her right now, was unknown,

Trying to sound normal I said "Hey baby,
I know I didn't call yet, and I'm sorry,
but I was cleaning, and you know how that can be..."
She said "Shut up, and just listen to me,
the real reason I called was just to say,
don't call my phone......it got disconnected today"
