I never thought id feel the way i feel when i talk to you
just the way you help me out
the way you help me through
when you turned my thoughts around it was like i lost my voice
it took me by surprise that if i had to pick a friend you'd be my very first choice
till the day you came around it was like i was choking
on my thoughts i was bound
and down the line i know i cant tell what will be
who knows, maybe even you'll be the one to save me
so i wanted to say thank you
for helping me with it all
by sticking by me even after,
you've really helped lighten my fall
