Loving a soldier

Loving a soldier is no child's play
Loving him gets harder everyday

Laying here alone with all my fears
falling asleep with my eyes filled with tears

The world seems so cold
being here without him to hold

This will never be easy it will always be rough
for loving this soldier is just to dam tough

So I pray to god and his all mighty powers
Please protect my soldier in these lonely hours

Loving a soldier who's so far away
Soon he'll be home he'll be home to stay

    Awesome and nicely written! i cry myself to sleep because i miss my boyfriend and he is just in basic training! he won't be back for 6 months and i am leaving for basic this summer! but i know how you feel it is hard
