The lifetime reunion

by Wings Of Flames   Dec 10, 2005

I see a white rose crushed to desporation,
I see a dead dove and find no variation,
All hope is desolate and now dying,
Switch from smiles to crying,

The messenger girl forgets then repeats,
Old love dies then regreets,
Procrastinate until another day,
Finding it hard to have words to say,

Sunday they march off to kiss god's feet,
We bow while he takes a seat,
A flower blooms with beauty and grace,
Then we hate it and destroy it with out a trace,

Laughing as the children play in the park,
But they cant be out before dark,
One tip toes through the house and sits on the swing,
SHe felt nervous then started to sing,

The child was never seen alive,
A stranger picked her up and she's now deprived,
Depression slinks to us and drags us down,
Some are so gone they drown,

Tired of school yard derision,
But thats not what creates a fatal decision,
The person who dies when we ask them to live,
When someone rejects what we give,

They all tumble up higher until we fall,
Or when we hit a continuous wall after wall,
The crippled tree old and hollow,
One day it finds the ground to follow,

We are the leaves that break until they find the grass,
We are the shattered glass,
We are the house demolished in to rubble,
We are the end of life's bubble. . .
