How can you just stand there,
As blood drips down my face.
The strong pain you are causing me,
Will never be earased.

How can you just stand there,
Thinking its ok,
When really its killing me,
In each and every way.

How can you just stand there,
I'd really like to know,
How you cant hurt the one,
You've loved and watched grow.

How can you just stand there?
Pulling my by my hair.
To you im pleeding,
"Daddy!Your not being fair!"

How can you just stand there,
Beating me to the floor.
Painfully I try crawling away,
So i can run straight out the door.

How can you just stand there,
Looking me in the eye.
Then slowly raising your fist,
Then watching me cry.

How can you just stand there,
Watching me in pain.
Once i regain my strength,
You do it over, and over again.

How can you just stand there,
Watching the tears stream from my eyes.
As I look up at who was once my hero,
Im yet to understand why.

How can you just stand there,
Without being ashamed,
Ashamed of all u've done,
Ashamed to cause my pain.

How can you just stand there,
Im nearly unconscience now.
Hardly any strength left for words.
I struggle and whisper..How?
