Not Scared Anymore

I'm not scared anymore.
I've been through this a lot before.
Why be scared and cry and pout?
When they can just shout.
Shout at me,
and put me down.
But not anymore.
I'm gonna turn this frown,
upside down.
I'm gonna stand up for my rights.
I'm gonna push away these fights,
that they try to start,
I'm sick of them emptying my heart,
but now,
I'm not scared anymore,
I'm ready!
