It was you who ruined it...

by missy   Dec 11, 2005

Don't really know where this was going...It's really stupid!!

Seems like nothing ever changes
the blame's still placed on me
and although it was you who ruined it
You're just too blind to see.

The thoughts of guilt surround you
but around me they always linger
although it was you who ruined it
at me, you still point your finger.

Surprise after surprise I was handed
while I placed you on a throne
although it was you who ruined it
I'm still living life alone.

You thought you were so clever
but the lies remained the same
although it was you who ruined it
I still have to handle the blame.

Today because of you I'm stronger
no one can break down my sturdy wall
although it was you who ruined it
I was still the one to fall.

Hopefully soon someone will catch me
before I fall too far
although you were the one who ruined it
I still wish for you on a star.
