Faith, hope, rain

by Iolana   Dec 11, 2005

*Two short poems on love,
both are not written by me, but I wanted to share them.*

Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful;
it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way;
it is not irritable or resentful;
it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never ends... So faith, hope, love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
- 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, 13

~~~
Now you will feel no rain,
for each of you will be a shelter to the other.
Now you will feel no cold,
for each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now there is no loneliness for you;
now there is no more loneliness.
Now you are two bodies,
but there is only one life before you.
Go now to your dwelling place,
to enter into your days together.
And may your days be good,
and long on the earth.
- Apache song
