The weekend comes,
she finally lets go of her past,
she told him something she has never told anyone before,
her past,
something that haunts her.
To their surprise,
What has haunt them for years brought them closer together,
Something was different,
Something made them understand more than what they thought the other would.
June came along,
The school year ending soon,
One night she went to her last concert,
In the big dark theatre near her school,
After rehearsal she went to the mall once again,
During dinner he sent a short message to her cell,
"I'm going out now,
I'll be back around 10,
Talk to you later honey?
And try to enjoy your concert."
She thought for a while,
but finished her dinner and returned to the theatre,
before the curtains rose,
his best friend sent another message to her cell,
"wonder if someone will get lucky tonight?"
The curtains rose and the hosts began to speak,
Soon after they began to play once again,
But this time,
She felt something different,
She couldn't describe it,
Just different,
Throughout the pieces she stared blankly into the audience,
And then she saw,
He was sitting in the audience once again.
The first time she saw him,
Although he was quite far away,
She was so happy,
Words can't describe how she felt,
But that night,
She realized,
Nothing can ever be sweeter,
Than being with the one you love.
She knew she can't,
He knew he can't,
They can't be with each other,
Do the simple things others do,
Just a simple hug,
Or to hold hands,
But they understood that maybe its not so bad,
Atleast they have seen each other,
Although blurry,
Although afar,
That it's already something that they can not always be able to do.
Classes end and exam time comes along,
They both study hard,
But still leave sometime to talk with each other.
Soon after,
Exams are over and summer begins,
He learns that he would be going away for a few weeks,
And spends more time with friends.
Every night he would send her a message,
Telling her to not wait,
Go sleep love,
She would email him every night,
Then go sleep.
The night comes,
Its time for him to leave,
They stay up all night,
And promise each other to take care.
She promised him she'd take care,
Focus on summer school,
He promised her he'd message her whenever he can and reply emails.
Days past,
They fight again.
She doesn't hear from him for days,
His friend then tells her,
He's in the hospital,
He got in a car accident.
She blamed herself,
Why did he go speeding?
Why is he in the hospital?
Life isn't fair,
And she cries herself to sleep worrying about him.
