This Christmas

This Christmas I want something
Special warm and true
Something no one else can have
That something is: gorgeous you!

I want to know that really
You love me like you say
I want to know that really
You love me in every way

So this Christmas I don't want gizmos
No materialistic things
This Christmas I want you to be
The gift that Santa brings

    People get so caught up in writing poems for the one they love at Christmas time that I think it can take away from the poem as they tend to say too much at times. The simplicity in this is wonderful...simply saying I want you...was brilliant! I love this poem...I read your thread in the club about you not being able to write...you're forcing yourself...you'll never beable to write if you force it just let it go...you'll be sitting somewhere and then BOOM it'll come to you...just relax...Happy Holidays....take care!!
