Instead I Grieve

I gave you my love, sincere and true,
I devoted my heart only to you.
With one last kiss, I watch you depart,
Memories haunt me, I can't bare us apart.

How can you just walk away from me,
You just let go of our love so easily.
I stood, I stared, I watched you leave.
What was before my eyes, I couldn't believe.

My warm delicate hand locked in yours,

Drowning in memories of what used to be,
I was blinded by love, the truth I could not see.

You took away my sorrow, erased my pain,
Without your support I would've truly been slain,
Not once did I thank you, or told you that I cared,
