Aww I really enjoyed this poem! Firstly, alright! Your another Ohioaner! haha jk

It's hard for parents to let go of their children and to let them live their own life...I'm not a parent, but I know..I know how much you want your space and want to let loose and have fun, but it is hard, you'll know when your a mom or aunt or whatever.......But sometimes its best for parents not to let go because when you do make mistakes you regret them , you wish for them to be taken back and for the burden to go away...so while your still young be greatful your mom is that way...its her way of helping you, but from one 14 year old to another, I know where your coming from!

I really like your style in writing! It was a very good peice!

Another excellent poem! I know how you feel. I feel the same way about my mom. She is SO overprotective!

Good work, I can really relate to this poem, my mom always seems to guard me from everything else in the world, and she just needs to let go a bit.

Wonderfully described, simple, gentle plea. I like it.

Loved the gentle sentiment expressed. It is really difficult to accept childre need freedom and the way you express this is so sweet. It would have been really easy to use a more aggressive stance. Well done.
