The sound of your voice once brought a smile to my face
the guy I use to love you replaced
the smile on your face brought a smile to mine
and when I was upset from you Id hide

the beat of your heart when my head was on your heart
made my heart race it made me fall apart

& the warmth of your touch when you slowly touched my cheek
made my tummy get butterflies and my knees go weak
the warmth of your lips pressed softly against mine
made me feel a love that was very hard to find

but now I have none of that and I'm stuck here in love
wondering if its my fault or you just decided to give up

maybe that makes me a fool
