Tears

How often
do you cry
do you find yourself
cold and alone
wishing there was more
asking yourself questions
that cant be answered
do you find yourself
lying down at night
feeling it roll
down your cheek
closing your eyes
and whipping it away
thinking to yourself
someday you will
be able to close your eyes
without shedding a tear
thinking that someday
it will be dry
and your hurt
will be gone
no longer crying
feeling a better person
