Happy Camper

Life is like
a camper camping
by the river of life.
You make your tent
or have someone
help you make it.
It is easy
to forget things
unless you make
list of things
that you will need.
When you don't have something
you simply make do
with what you got.
Sometimes
you can ask a friend
that might come along
and at other times
you are by yourself.
But the more you go camping
the better you get at it.
Sometimes the camping is good
and the weather is beautiful
but at other times
the camping can be rough.
But you can have a good time
camping when you remember
that there is always tomorrow
and the weather might break.
It is always better to go
fully prepared
so you don't run
out of things
but some of the best camping
is when you have to be creative
because those are the times
that you will always remember.
