A Tears Journey

Tears of extreme pain fill my eye
I can't stand the thought of saying good-bye
He opened a completely different side of me
And a lot of new things he helped me see

Tears of everlasting sadness roll down my cheek
The thought of not talking leaves me weak
He called me beautiful and babe, he's so sweet
He slowly stole my heart, I admit defeat

Tears of excruciating anger run down my neck
I hate the cards I was dealt, I want my own deck!
I hate that they don't let me talk to my friend
This scar in my heart will never really mend

Tears of short-term happiness soak my shirt
For a moment I become numb to the pain, it doesn't hurt
I'm lucky to have had the opportunity to talk
The thought of knowing him puts a little skip in my walk

Sadly, soon the happy thoughts are the things are the things I start to forget
But don't get me wrong, meeting him I do not and never will regret
Because he was so awesome and complimented me so much
My heart always felt warm, like an angel's touch
And now that we're apart a part, of me is gone, and I want it back
He is my one and only missing link, a part that I lack

At the end all off the emotions start over, they always seem to return
Somehow I'll have to deal with them, somehow I'll have to learn
But for now these feelings will keep on getting worse
This is everlasting, it's a heart torturing curse
